Directions to Race Start: Take the I-5 freeway south, exit at Oso Parkway. Go east to Coto de Caza drive, turn left and enter the guard gate. Tell them you are with the Charlie Alewine group and ask for directions to 15 Lilac Lane. Alternatively, you can also enter the Antonio gate if it is more convenient.
COURSE DESCRIPTION :
Start is at 15 Lilac Lane. When you enter the gate let the guard know you are with the Charlie Alewine group. Ask for directions to 15 Lilac Lane.
Course: Leaving Lilac Lane, Turn left on Willow Bend and right on Oak Park Lane. Turn right on Vista del Verde Drive and continue on the main road for approximately 1.5 miles. At the roundabout take the first right and continue on this road for the remainder of the 6.55 miles. Your turnaround will be at the Coto de Caza Sports Park, which is at the intersection of Coto de Caza Drive and Vista del Verde. It will be the second stop sign you come to after crossing Oso Parkway. There will be one aid station at approximately mile 4.
Elevation gain for 1/2 marathon: 1000 feet
Elevation gain for full marathon: 2000 feet
