It is our goal to provide runners with the very best race experience possible. We will always have well stocked aid stations and the friendliest volunteers.
Our mission is to host races of varied distances, as well as events of different levels of difficulty. We want runners and walkers alike to have fun while challenging themselves to be the best they can be, to realize that staying fit through running and walking can be enjoyable.

Charlie Alewine, Race Director, is a veteran ultrarunner who has completed 190+ races from marathon distance, 26.2miles, to 100miles. Prior to meeting his mentor, Moo Lim, in January 2004, Charlie was a recreational runner who had done occasional 5k & 10k races. With encouragement from his friend Moo, Charlie completed his first real distance run, the Los Angeles Marathon, on March 7th 2004. He was hooked; The following weekend he ran the Catalina Marathon. He completed his 100th Marathon, with a few 50k's mixed in, in less than two and a half years.
In November 2006, at the age of 61, Charlie completed his first 100 miler, the Mother Road 100 in Oklahoma. His finish time was 26:40. In February 2009, Charlie set his new 100 mile PR of 25:34 at the Iron Horse 100 in Florida. In April 2009, Charlie was the winner of the Inaugural Philadelphia 100 Endurance Run. Although his time was only 27:39, it was more about being able to overcome the elements, as it was very cold, and it rained for 9 1/2 hours straight. At the Inaugural Moab !00 in May 2007, Charlie was second overall with his slowest time in a 100 miler to that point, 29:48. It was in the 90s at the start of the race at 9:00AM, and stayed in the 100s all day Saturday and Sunday.
Charlie plans to continue running 10-15 races each year, along with hosting several other events. Charlie is helped in his racing endeavors by his two sons, Andrew & Johnny. Andrew is the Web-administrator and graphics designer for this website. Johnny will be working with his dad at most all the events.
